Privacy Policy

Clariopilot (“Clariopilot,” “we,” or “the Service”) is a social-media management service that lets creators schedule, publish, and analyze their own content across the YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok accounts they choose to connect. This policy explains what data we handle, how we use it, and how you can delete it.
What we collect
- Account & sign-in: your email and basic profile from Google sign-in, used only to authenticate you to the Service.
- Connected-platform credentials: the OAuth access/refresh tokens you grant when connecting a YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok account. These are stored encrypted at rest and used solely to perform the actions you request (publishing the content you upload, scheduling it, and reading analytics for it).
- Content you provide: the videos, captions, thumbnails, and schedule times you upload to publish through the Service.
- Platform data: account and content metadata returned by those platforms — for example your account name, follower counts, your own videos, and per-post analytics — stored to power your dashboard.
How we use it
Data is used only to operate the features you ask for: scheduling and publishing the content you upload to your own connected accounts, and showing you analytics for it. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build profiles for third parties. We do not perform automated likes, follows, comments, or any engagement on your behalf.
YouTube / Google data
Clariopilot uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is also handled under the Google Privacy Policy. Clariopilot’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request the YouTube scopes needed to upload, schedule, edit, and delete the videos you manage on your own connected channel and to read your channel’s information (youtube), and to display your channel’s analytics (yt-analytics.readonly). You can review or revoke Clariopilot’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Instagram & TikTok data
When you connect an Instagram (Meta) or TikTok account, your use of that platform remains governed by its own terms and privacy policy (the Instagram Privacy Policy and the TikTok Privacy Policy). Clariopilot accesses only the scopes you explicitly grant and acts within them — reading your account profile to identify the connected account, and publishing the content you upload and schedule. You can revoke access from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites) or TikTok (Settings → Security → Manage app permissions) at any time.
Data retention & deletion
Tokens and synced data persist only while an account is connected. When you disconnect an account in Clariopilot, we immediately and permanently delete that account’s stored OAuth tokens and all data synced from it (profile, follower/view counts, video lists, analytics, and publishing records). Revoking access from the platform’s own settings also stops all further access.
To delete all of your data: disconnect your accounts and delete your Clariopilot account, or email us at the address below and we will delete your data within 30 days. Instagram users can also trigger deletion through Meta — see our Data Deletion instructions.
Security
Platform tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, and all data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the underlying database is restricted to the Service.
